Anna Pugh is one of England's leading artists and is admired as a colourist and story teller.  Her paintings, like those of Rousseau and Chagall, show the natural world enlivened by touches of the surreal.  Few artists equal her ability to record natural phenomena and to invigorate it with such persuasive illusion.  They have the freshness and irreverent vitality of life lived close to nature.  In over thirty years she has painting over 300 pictures, all in private collections in the United Kingdom, Europe and North America.  Anna Pugh is represented exclusively by the Lucy B Campbell Gallery, London.
