Christine Pichette was born in Marseille, France and now lives and works in Paris. She is the daughter of the poet Henri Pichette.

Christine is self-taught and began painting in 1989. Since that time she has held numerous exhibitions in Paris and her work is held in collections through-out the world including the USA, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, New-Zealand, Europe and Great Britain.

Christine’s paintings are mixed media on either board or canvas. She incorporates texture and other elements of collage, combining oils, gouaches, acrylics and pastels in a single painting. Her impressive style includes a vibrant use of colour, a fine contrast between strength and delicacy, reality and fantasy, as well as an overwhelming creativity.
